Hear inspiring lived-experience stories, explore men’s local support services, and discover how connection is helping men build healthier, more purposeful lives.
Join us for an inspiring evening that kicks off the Men, Mates & Mentors Day initiative.
This public showcase event is your chance to witness the incredible stories of men taking responsibility, overcoming isolation, and building better lives as mates, partners, fathers, and contributors to their communities.
What’s Happening?
- Inspiring Testimonials: Hear real stories from men and their partners about journeys from isolation to connection and growth.
- Community Spotlight: Learn how peer support groups and services are changing lives and how you can be part of this movement.
This event is not just for men – it’s for anyone who believes in the power of connection and wants to support a positive shift in their community. Media, referrers, women, and the general public are all welcome.
What is Men, Mates & Mentors?
Men, Mates & Mentors is a consortium of not for profit organisations, including Complete Men, Dads in Distress, Men’s Wellbeing, The Men’s Table, The Mankind Poject and supported by Gold Coast Primary Health Network.
Why Attend?
This evening is designed to showcase what Men, Mates & Mentors is all about: supporting men to grow, connect, and thrive. It’s an opportunity to:
- Learn about the initiative: Get a sneak peek into the workshops, resources, and impact of the upcoming Men’s Day event.
- Break stereotypes: Understand what this movement isn’t—we’re not about men’s rights activism, cults, or playing the victim. This is a celebration of accountability, growth, and positive change.
- Be inspired: Walk away feeling hopeful, empowered, and connected to a larger purpose.
- Help make a difference: Learn how to recognise when the men in your life may be isolating themselves or facing challenges, and discover effective ways to support them, even when they seem resistant to advice or assistance.
Who Should Attend?
This event is perfect for:
- Individuals looking to support men’s mental health and well-being.
- Media and community leaders interested in amplifying the message.
- Families, friends, and referrers wanting to learn more about available support services.
- Health and Community professionals
Join us for an evening that sets the stage for a groundbreaking movement to support men and their communities. Let’s come together to celebrate courage, connection, and the power of taking the first step.
Together, we can make a difference.
