From Matter Waves to Brain Waves: Quantum Technologies for Bioimaging

New Australian quantum sensing technologies are opening ways of observing biological systems that were previously impossible. Emerging quantum sensing technologies are enabling researchers to measure mechanical, optical and electrical signals inside living cells with unprecedented precision. These advances have the potential to improve our understanding of disease, accelerate drug discovery and reveal previously hidden biological mechanisms.

Three case studies from universities across Australia will showcase emerging quantum technologies and their potential to deliver practical insights into disease, cellular behaviour and therapeutic action.
