Mudgeeraba
Practical tools and discussion about how sporting groups can help prevent gender based violence in our community.
Legal obligations in Australia require sporting organisations to provide a psychologically safe environment for all participants. Under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act) and the Fair Work Act 2009, clubs have a duty of care to prevent psychosocial hazards such as bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
This training will provide tools to foster a culture of anti-violence, accountability, and respect. Brought to you by Building a safer, stronger Gold Coast.
Free pizza and refreshments for all attendees.
