An opportunity for the community to honour and remember those who served in the Vietnam War, at Elsie Laver Park.

The Vietnam Veterans Day Commemorative Service is held each year on 18 August at Elsie Laver Park.

Conducted at the local war memorial, the service typically includes wreath laying, the playing of the Last Post, and a period of silence, bringing together veterans, families, and the wider community in reflection and respect.

The day recognises the service and sacrifice of more than 60,000 Australians who served in Vietnam, many of whom did not receive proper recognition on their return.
