On the same day in 70+ locations worldwide, hundreds of red-dressed Kates gather to joyfully recreate Kate Bush’s iconic 1978 “Wuthering Heights” video.
Join the Gold Coast’s entry in the global flashmob phenomenon that is The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever! This event will be happening across the world in public parks, beaches and harbours from Folkestone to Fremantle and the Gold Coast to Germany.
Whether you’re a diehard Kate Bush fan or just curious about the sea of red you’ve seen online, you’re welcome here. No dance experience needed – just a flowy red outfit, a black sash, and a playful spirit.
2026 marks the 8th Gold Coast edition, with over 300 Kates expected to join this beautifully weird and wonderful mass Wuther. Every year, it becomes someone’s favourite memory – and this year, it could be yours.
