The Mayor’s Volunteer Thank You Event returns in 2026 — bigger and better than ever!
Join the Mayor of the City of Gold Coast for a special evening dedicated to recognising the incredible contribution of volunteers across our city.
The Mayor warmly invites local community groups, organisations and volunteers to come together in celebration of the difference they make every day. This event reflects the Mayor’s ongoing commitment to acknowledging and championing the vital role volunteers play in building a stronger, more connected Gold Coast.
Bring your volunteers along and join the Mayor, alongside Councillors, in recognising and thanking those who give so generously of their time. Guests will enjoy a memorable evening at the Council Chambers with food, entertainment and celebration.
