Engage in meaningful conversations about prevention, intervention, and the systemic change needed to better respond to domestic and family violence.
On the lands of the Kombumerri Saltwater people, the Gold Coast Domestic Violence Prevention Centre, in partnership with the Gold Coast Domestic Violence Integrated Response (DVIR), will bring together victim-survivors, domestic and family violence specialist organisations, and the broader community to explore how we can disrupt the patterns of abuse and control that is domestic violence.
The Disruption Conference is a dedicated space for learning, collaboration, and reflection.
The program will invite participants to examine the roles we each play, both individually and collectively, in shifting the systems that have historically overlooked or silenced the voices of victim-survivors.
We’ll consider how to place accountability where it belongs, and how to reimagine our responses, guided by the insight and lived experience of those most impacted.
