In Chinese culture, the Mooncake Festival takes place every year to celebrate the mid-Autumn harvest.
In this unique Sunroom workshop, we’ll have the opportunity to make our own intricately designed mooncakes to eat! Learn the history and mythology behind this tasty treat, while we explore a range of culinary techniques.
During this session we will visit This Moment: Highlights from the White Rabbit Collection of Chinese Contemporary Art for a tour of the exhibition before making our own mooncakes to try.
No prior art making experience is necessary, only a willingness to engage your imagination, curiosity and sense of play.
Recommended for ages 16+.
