You’re invited to a once-in-a-generation community celebration as we open the Robina Time Capsule, sealed since July 2000! Come see what treasures, memories, and messages were packed away by students and locals 25 years ago.

Time Travel Exhibition Week

From Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 July leading up to our big Community Day, swing by the special exhibition showcasing the contents of the capsule – it’s a nostalgic journey back to the year 2000! Relive Y2K vibes, old-school gadgets, fashion flashbacks, and more.

Community Day Fun

Bring the whole family for a day full of fun:

• Face Painting
• Scavenger hut
• Crafting stations
• Free Sausage Sizzle
• Sign the Guest Book with your message to the future – to be sealed in the capsule and opened in 2050!
• Free A Minecraft Movie Screening from 2pm – BYO beanbag

We’ll wrap up the day with a screening of The Minecraft Movie, with popcorn – perfect for kids and kids-at-heart!

Let’s celebrate how far Robina and surrounds have come - and imagine where we’ll be in the next 25 years. You won’t want to miss this milestone moment of our community’s history.
