Palm Beach
Residual Ink is a solo exhibition by Gold Coast-based artist Jerome Taylor.

Influenced by graffiti, anime, hip-hop, and a childhood shaped by action figures, cartoons, and video games, Taylor’s work is an ongoing expression of whatever he’s living through.

Working across spray paint, screen printing, airbrushing, paste-up, oil pastels, and paint pens — sometimes neat, sometimes rough – he builds layered works on canvas and reclaimed objects that feel real rather than perfect.

At the core, it’s about telling his story. Being open enough that someone else might feel understood. Maybe even be a little kinder to themselves.
