Project Swing Big Band

A young and energetic big band full of great talent, playing jazz and swing classics and standards, as well as Latin, rock and funk in the big band style.

Project Swing was formed as a 17 piece big band, complete with a four-piece rhythm section, four trumpets, four trombones and five saxophones plus a resident vocalist.

Led by Andrew Montfroy, none of the band members are over the age of 28 with several being under 18 and still at school. Considering their ages and limited experience, the band has many great soloists and has a strong and impressive ensemble sound.

Doors open at 6pm, concert commences at 7pm. Bar and bistro available.

Presented by the Gold Coast City Jazz Club. Concerts held twice monthly, usually on the first and third Tuesday.
