Biggera Waters
A free event for 12–17 year olds, by young people for young people. Featuring big-screen gaming, hands-on craft activities and plenty of space to hang out.
Join a welcoming space where you can come by yourself or with friends, relax, try something new, and meet young people from all over the Gold Coast. Hang out, get creative and connect with others.
Held at Reading Cinemas, Harbour Town, this free event will have:
- Big screen gaming with FUSE Cup (think Mario Kart-style fun!)
- A craft zone with hand-knitting led by BLEACH Festival artist Melissa Spratt, plus bracelet-making and more
- A chill-out space to take a break or chat if you need to
- Goodie bags and giveaways
Whether you're coming for the games, the creative vibes, or just a safe, fun place to be 100% yourself – Press Play is the event for you.
This event is proudly part of Gold Coast Wellbeing Week, in partnership with the Gold Coast Suicide Prevention Collaborative, Gold Coast PHN, Wesley Mission Queensland and co-designed with the City of Gold Coast's Junior Council.
With activities and giveaways by The Fuse Cup, Melissa Spratt, Hey Mate and headspace.
