Parrots for Purpose is a Gold Coast based registered charity. We hand-rear and provide companion birds to people experiencing mental and physical disabilities, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression and loneliness.

Our organisation is run by volunteers, and we rely solely on donations and fundraising to continue our work

Parrots for Purpose is hosting a Charity Art Auction to help raise funds to continue the work we do in the community, which includes:

Dementia workshops
Rehabilitation Services
Referral support service
National disaster relief
Interactive in-house workshops with companion parrots
Interactive hospital visits with companion parrots
Palliative care moments
Respite Centre interactive visits with companion parrots
School visits and mental health education with companion parrots
Community involvement on mental and physical health initiatives
Individual support sessions with companion parrots and artwork
Corporate and social public speaking engagements for motivation and anxiety relief
Charity art auction, fundraising and Saturday social mornings
