Join us for a captivating presentation as we dive into the incredible world of humpback whales and the vital role Humpbacks and High-rises plays in their protection across South-East Queensland. The presentation will offer a unique look at how whales have use the waters off the Gold Coast as a vital migratory corridor, breeding area, and resting ground.

The session will feature highlights from recent research, revealing trends in whale populations, behaviour, and sightings collected through their citizen science program. You'll gain insight into how this valuable data is shaping conservation efforts and informing policy in Gold Coast waters.

You'll also hear about their impactful volunteer program and how you can get involved in supporting whale conservation in your community.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER

  • Strictly for youth to adult aged 12 years and above
  • Under 16s must have guardian present and supervising
  • Further location details will be provided in the confirmation email as you scroll down
  • We do not accept large group bookings
  • This is an indoor event, venue is fully accessible

TICKET REGISTRATION

You must secure a ticket for all participants attending. If you can't secure a spot you require at the time of registration please do not book. Each event is set to a maximum capacity.
