Discover the significance of native fish in our waterways!
Join us for a live native Bass fish release at West Lakes, Robina, where 36,000 fingerlings will be stocked to enhance biodiversity and boost native fish populations.
The event will feature informative displays, including insights into creating ideal fish habitats, how we can all contribute to monitoring our waterways, an interactive waterbug activity, and efforts to remove invasive species like Tilapia.
You’ll also have the chance to assist in releasing Bass fingerlings with a bucket (pending availability), although the majority of the fish will be distributed by the City throughout the day.
