A half-day event empowering Multicultural youth lived experience panel to explore identity and belonging, connect with others, and access support.

The Multicultural Youth Symposium 2026 is a dynamic half‑day event designed to uplift and empower young people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

The symposium brings together youth, schools, community organisations, and specialist services to explore identity, belonging, cross‑cultural experiences, and the challenges and strengths of growing up multicultural in Australia.

This event creates a safe, inspiring space for young people to share stories, connect with peers, and learn about the support available to them.

The Multicultural Youth Symposium is organised by Multicultural Families Organisation (MFO) in partnership with Gold Coast Youth Service.
