This workshop is for people with disability and their families, friends and supporters. While you are welcome to come on your own, we encourage people with disability to come with people who will help you work towards your employment goals.
We will share ideas and options to help you start planning for a career. You will explore how a person’s strengths and interests can reveal relevant roles and associated tasks, and look at some new and different ways to find or create meaningful work. You will start to figure out how to do well at a job once you’ve got it, and what supports you will need to maintain it.
Everyone who attends the workshop will need to be registered, but if the cost is a barrier to you attending or bringing supporters along with you, then please get in touch to discuss with us.
Consider using public transport or active travel. Plan your trip with Translink's journey planner.
Parking may be limited. For metered parking, use the EasyPark app to start, end, and extend your parking direct from your phone to avoid fines. For more information visit City of Gold Coast's Parking page.
