Join us for a vibrant celebration of culture, community and belonging as we come together to light up the sky with spectacular lanterns.
Luminous brings communities together through music, performances, lanterns and cultural expression, creating a welcoming space for new Queenslanders and celebrating the rich diversity that makes the Gold Coast so special.
We invite community groups to be part of this beautiful celebration. If your community is interested in participating in the lantern parade or presenting a cultural performance, please contact our Community Development team at cams@mccgc.org.au.
The event is co-organised with Multicultural Australia and supported by Bendigo Bank and Surf Life Saving Queensland. Let’s come together in unity and celebrate the multicultural richness of our Gold Coast community.
