Let There Be Light is a free art exhibition featuring artwork by two local Gold Coast artists, Zenga Butler and Nita Barca.

Zenga is in his seventies, and after learning to draw five years ago, has becoming an extraordinarily talented portrait artist. Zenga creates hyper-realistic, large-scale portraits of people he knows using charcoal and graphite and his works will be on display for the first time ever.

Let There Be Light will kick off with an opening party on Saturday 22 August and will run until 10 September at the Hive Gallery in Currumbin. This event is a celebration of charcoal and graphite portraiture, as well as the Gold Coast's thriving art scene.
