First Nations people have lived on this continent for more that 60,000 years surviving on nature and respecting the natural environment.

Find out which plants growing in the Botanic Gardens were used for food, shelter, medicine and tools. Taste some bush tucker and try weaving using Lomandra leaves.

Wear closed in shoes, a shady hat and bring a water bottle.

Suitable for ages 5 to 12 years. Parents/carers are encouraged to attend.
