Currumbin Waters
Fast, funny improvised family-friendly comedy – plus an outrageous musical improv satire of Eurovision guest starring international improvisers!

The crowd-favourite comedy night that keeps selling out is back. Expect fast, funny, family-friendly improvised comedy, made up on the spot from your suggestions.

Then in the second half, things get gloriously unhinged with Improvision, a musical improv satire of Eurovision – big songs, bigger drama, outrageous characters, and absolutely no country is safe. Improvision is a one-off special guest starring visiting professional improvisers who have performed on big stages around the world including Glenn Seaby, Tom Farrell, Mandy Plumb, and State of Squidprov champion Phil Cooke.

If you like the hit TV show ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’, you’ll love this style of improvised comedy even more in person upstairs at Currumbin Hotel! Sit back, have a laugh, some drinks, dinner, and you may even win a free drink! With your suggestions, our talented improvisers create hilarious sketches on the spot!

Improv Comedy FriYAY is a family-friendly show by Blah Blah Blah Improv, the Gold Coast and Byron Bay’s premiere improv company. It is the only comedy night on the Gold Coast where you can bring the kids and have a drink!

Our shows sell out, so book fast to avoid disappointment! Doors open 6:30pm, show starts at 7pm.
