Botanic Gardens are like zoos for plants! They conserve, educate and connect people to a diversity of local, rare and threatened native plant species.

To celebrate Botanic Gardens Week, our expert volunteer guide will introduce you to legendary local plants that you should know and grow in your backyard.

This guided walk will deepen your understanding of the essential role botanic gardens play in combating biodiversity loss and enhancing support for nature.

The Rosser Family and the Friends of the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens have been Guardians of this unique Green Space of our Gold Coast City.

Meet your Guide at 10am at the Meeting Post on the path to the Friends' Centre.

Please wear closed in shoes, a hat and bring a water bottle.
