Australia's Newest Ocean Race, the 520 nautical mile GCCM Gold Coast Mackay Yacht Race, lets boats send it in spectacular fashion up the tropical Queensland coast to the Whitsundays, just in time for the northern race weeks. Now in it's 3rd year in 2026, the race has proven to be a navigator's delight and is honoured with magnificent Perpetual Trophies named after true Australian sailing legends.
