The Gold Coast Film Festival is a celebration of film and filmmaking hosted in Queensland’s most dynamic screen destination, the Gold Coast. Now in its 23rd year, Gold Coast Film Festival 2024 showcases amazing films, inspirational panels, outdoor screenings and special events at Home of the Arts (HOTA), including the incredible SIPFest (Shorts in Paradise) that sees thousands gather under the stars - and other iconic Gold Coast locations - presenting the best of Australian and International cinema along with profiling local and independent films over 12 incredible days. The Gold Coast Film Festival 2024 explores diverse stories and unique perspectives on-screen through its short and feature film program and will award a range of prizes across various festival competition strands. Several free-to-attend industry education events provide inspiring and incredible opportunities for emerging and established screen creatives to learn, connect and grow. The Gold Coast Film Festival is supported by the Queensland State Government through Screen Queensland, Tourism and Events Queensland along with Major Events Gold Coast and the City of Gold Coast.
