Join us for a good news story about waste with Tom Pasley from PBC State High School, as he shares how the school has transformed its waste management processes over the past two years.

The results are inspiring:

• 1,200 fewer bins sent to landfill in 2024 compared to 2023
• $7,000+ earned through the Containers for Change program
• 30 tonnes of food waste composted on site

Tom will walk us through PBC’s journey – from conducting a waste audit, to winning grants, to designing smarter bin systems, and most importantly, changing student and staff behaviours around waste.
