Looking for something a little different and genuinely useful to do these school holidays? Come along for food, fun and practical activities for all ages.

Bring the kids, bring a friend, or just come along yourself. Everyone is welcome.

We’ll kick things off with a sausage sizzle before exploring a range of hands on stations where you can build your own emergency kit and learn simple ways to be better prepared. Children will love the Red Cross Pillowcase Workshop, a creative and engaging activity where they can decorate their own pillowcase while learning what to pack in an emergency. Miss Bella will also be running a fun craft station so kids can get creative.

Adults can pick up helpful tips along the way, with local experts sharing quick, practical advice on things like car checks, storm safety, and preparing for unexpected events.

It’s a relaxed, welcoming community afternoon where you can spend time together, connect with others, and leave feeling more confident and prepared.
