Exchange of Arts Between Two Hemispheres

The RQAS (Royal Queensland Art Society) Gold Coast is proud to announce an unmissable South Korean art celebration, with everyone warmly invited to attend.

The South Korean Contemporary Art Society will transform the RQAS Gold Coast Gallery into a showcase of contemporary Korean creativity with around 60 original works on display. This display is open for one month.

The opening ceremony will be a festive atmosphere featuring live cultural performances, a traditional South Korean Fan Dance and violin recital blending an afternoon of visual art, music and movement.

Division Councillor Darren Taylor will join the celebrations to officially welcome the visiting South Korean artists.

The event coincides with the RQAS gallery's March Exhibition changeover and will include complimentary drinks and nibbles.

Media, community groups and the public are all welcome to attend and be part of a colourful, cross-cultural art experience.
