Drawing for Life with Meg Stoios

Each Drawing for Life session sees leading artists and performers curate poses, subjects and performances for you to draw.

All abilities are welcome to enjoy this unique and artful experience. All drawing materials are provided.

Ticket includes one complimentary beverage from a selected drinks menu, with food and drinks available to purchase throughout the session. Doors open at 6pm for a 6:30pm start.

Drawing for Life will be led by local artist Meg Stoios. In these workshops participants will draw from a life model to explore processes of change and transmutation.

Meg Stoios is invested in complex narrative and visual language structures in painting and sculpture and has a highly technical approach to composition and mark making. The use of life models is integral to their work.

Stoios completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (Drawing) from the Victorian College of the Arts (University of Melbourne) in 2012.

Using figurative and abstract imagery, Stoios unravels personal and shared traumas, revealing the psycho-scapes of interpersonal relationships.
