Learning through hands-on, nature-based play that encourages respect for the land and connection to Country.

A hands-on day exploring the creek, discovering water bugs and connecting with nature through play and adventure.

Children will wade through shallow water, search for living creatures, create with natural materials and build confidence in the outdoors.

Activities

  • Explore the Creek: Wade through shallow water and follow the creek, searching for hidden treasures
  • Discover Water Bugs: Use nets and trays to find and observe water bugs and learn about their role in the ecosystem
  • Make Ochre: Create natural pigments using earth materials, inspired by traditional practices
  • Build Rope Swings: Work together to build and test simple rope swings
  • Spot Local Wildlife: Observe birds, insects and other wildlife in their natural environment

For ages 3–10 years.

Please note: Drop-off is available for children who are comfortable with drop-off and are fully toilet trained.
