We're opening Rivermill for a morning built around the people who spend their working lives looking after others – nannies, educators, early childhood teachers, family daycare carers, and the caregivers who hold it all together.
It's hosted in partnership with Connected Caregivers, a Gold Coast and Brisbane community for the people in this profession.
The heart of the morning is a guided creative workshop with Karen Lang – author, counsellor and art therapist – whose gentle approach makes space for reflection and connection through creativity. No artistic experience needed.
What the morning looks like:
Join us for a peaceful morning of creativity and connection. Create freely. Because caregivers deserve a moment to be cared for too.
Consider using public transport or active travel. Plan your trip with Translink's journey planner.
Parking may be limited. For metered parking, use the EasyPark app to start, end, and extend your parking direct from your phone to avoid fines. For more information visit City of Gold Coast's Parking page.
