Step into a vibrant, grounding experience of Colour and Culture with proud Gadigal woman and neo-contemporary Indigenous artist Kate Constantine.

This hands-on workshop is an invitation to slow down and connect through paint, story, and the rich textures of Country. Guided by Kate, you’ll create using natural earth pigments, ochres, and materials inspired by the land, while gaining insight into culture, creativity and connection to place.

Relax into the calming rhythm of painting, explore abstract forms drawn from nature, and enjoy the gentle power of yarning in a warm and welcoming space.

Artist: Konstantina Aboriginal Art.

Wellbeing benefits: “Embracing slowness, deep listening and connection to landscape calms our nervous system and can reduce anxiety.”

Aligning with Queensland Mental Health Week, Creative & Connected is a series of free creative workshops to brighten your day. Come as you are, leave feeling more creative and connected!

Creative and Connected is supported by Queensland Government through Arts Queensland’s Queensland Art Showcase Program, and Paradise Point and Pimpama-Ormeau Community Bank. This project is also supported by Officeworks and We Sell Prints.
