In an era of rapid change, Celestial Shifts offers a moment of pause and reflection.

A new solo exhibition Celestial Shifts by prize-winning magical realist oil painter Natasha Zraikat is set to open at Studio 8 Currumbin.

Zraikat’s work asks: What is shifting within us? What is shifting around us? And how can art serve as a bridge between inner transformation and outer world?

This exhibition presents an opportunity for collectors, art lovers and curious minds to engage with one of Australia’s compelling contemporary figurative painters, one whose work resonates with current cultural, environmental and spiritual conversations.

Artist statement and concept

Natasha Zraikat’s work contemplates our intrinsic connection to nature and the metaphysical and through this new body of work, Zraikat reflects on how collective and individual consciousness evolve.

The exhibition navigates the liminal spaces where humanity meets the heavens, where identity, environment and myth converge.

Zraikat’s signature realistic technique anchors the fantastical: symbolic portraiture, animal allegory and immersive skies merge to invite introspection.
