Facilitated by award-winning writer Christine Betts, this series of creative writing workshops involves spending time in the Gallery and responding to exhibitions and works of art through a range of guided writing exercises.
Recommended for ages 16+.
What if the most powerful environmental activism isn't a protest sign, but a story? Great environmental fiction doesn't lecture, it transforms! Learn to write fiction where the landscape becomes a character, and the natural world comes alive on the page. Blend ecological truth with compelling characters and plots that leave readers seeing the world differently.
As part of this workshop we will visit the exhibition SURGE, before undertaking a series of responsive guided writing exercises.
Consider using public transport or active travel. Plan your trip with Translink's journey planner.
