With time to explore, create and play, children will develop new skills and enjoy a day of connection, creativity and adventure.

This engaging program introduces children to practical, bushcraft-inspired skills using real tools. In a safe and supported environment, children are encouraged to follow their ideas, create freely, build confidence and take pride in what they make.

Activities

  • Hand Tool Creation – Whittle and create carved stick tools such as bows and arrows, pickaxes, wands and stick figures. Children will also have the opportunity to use hand drills and saws, guided step-by-step by educators.
  • Slackline Fun –Build balance, coordination and confidence while exploring the slackline.
  • Ochre Making – Explore the art of ochre making, fostering connection to the land and cultural awareness.
  • Rope Swing Play – Work together to set up and enjoy rope swings under educator guidance, encouraging teamwork, coordination and confidence.
  • Creek Exploration – Wade, splash and discover local wildlife.

All activities are conducted under educator supervision with a strong focus on safety, responsibility and respect for the environment.

For ages 6–12 years.
