Adventure Day

Thursday 17 December 2026 | 08:30 AM

Get ready for a fun-filled day of outdoor adventure in the beautiful Tallebudgera Valley.

Build cubbies, try bushcraft skills and explore the creek. Have a go at slacklining or simply relax in a hammock with friends.

Every day is a little different. Activities are inspired by the children's interests and the conditions on the day.

Most importantly, it's about giving children the freedom to just be kids.

Activities

• Cubby Building & Bushcraft: Build cubbies and secret hideaways using sticks, branches, tarps and natural materials. Try whittling and hand drilling with supervised, age-appropriate tools.
• Slacklining: Have a go at slacklining while developing balance, coordination and confidence.
• Creek Exploration & Waterbugs: Explore the creek while discovering waterbugs and other fascinating little creatures.
• Nature Art & Crafts: Get creative using natural materials. Have a go at making ochre or creating your own nature-inspired masterpieces.

For ages 3–5 and 6–9 years.

Each age group will explore different areas of the park with activities suited to their ages and abilities.
