Gather your friends and family, lace up your running shoes, and come experience orienteering through local Gold Coast streets.

NightNav is a twilight series navigating around the streets of Gold Coast suburbs, 40-minute score events just like MapRun Parks GC.

This series is suitable for all fitness and experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned orienteer or new to the sport, this is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and explore the outdoors.

You have 40 minutes to navigate through various checkpoints around the suburb using the MapRun smartphone app (free) and a paper map. Test your skills, race the clock, and have a blast!

Unlike a traditional race, you create your own course! With 20–25 checkpoints worth varying points, strategy is key. Fastest doesn’t always win – smart navigation does. Avoiding a hill could be your secret to victory!

Your phone will beep at the start, at each checkpoint, and at the finish. Results are uploaded instantly so you can compare routes and scores with others. Plus, you’ll receive a summary of the results, by email, after the event.
